Our commitment
ROW Recall is built local-first. Your development history, timeline database and source code remain on your machine. We do not upload your code automatically, and we never use your data for model training or any purpose other than running the product.
Data we collect
In its default configuration, ROW Recall stores all timeline data locally on your device. To activate and manage a license, we collect only the minimum needed: your email address (and, if you provide it, your name and country) plus a non-identifying machine fingerprint that binds a license to your device.
- Email and profile details you submit during signup or license redemption
- A machine fingerprint used only to enforce one active device per license
- License, coupon and support-ticket records required to operate the service
How we use your data
The email and other details we collect are used only to manage your license, deliver license-related and transactional emails (welcome, expiry reminders, support replies), and provide customer support. We do not use them for marketing, advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.
What we never do
- We never share or sell your details to any third party
- We never upload your source code without your explicit consent
- We never use your code or your personal data to train models
- All personal data is handled locally where possible and never leaked or resold
Payment & card data
We do not store any card or payment data. All payments are processed entirely by our payment gateway provider (the card details are entered on their secure, PCI-compliant pages). We only receive the result of a transaction (e.g. whether a subscription is active) and use it solely to manage your license.
Local storage
Your timeline database is stored locally in your user profile directory. You can back it up, move it, or delete it at any time. Your machine-bound license state lives only in your local app database unless you choose to activate a license with us.
